GFBRAS Update.
The society has had a lot of activity and is not yet one year old. Our first AGM is coming up in March.

During this time we have been working on

Mobile Abattoir, Business plan, communication through surveys
Future Boundary Growers, Education in schools
Boundary chicken coop, opertunities for farmers, local support
Lawnmower races supporting the local community
Agricultural community Plan
Seed bank and storage
New generation co-op

Other ideas to look into have been

Growing our own animal feed
Marketing farm products
Gathering info on current food security
Local sustainability
How to better communicate with our community

We feel our valleys could be supported by agriculture as it was at one time.

We could become the region that feed itself !!
